Sarah Yontz grew up in a small town called Pleasant Garden, NC. She currently resides in the mountains of North Carolina.
Sarah studied Graphic Design and Photography at Appalachian State University. Her time at ASU also included a study abroad in Paris, France where she studied Photography History, and Photo Development / Dark Room Techniques. Additionally, she completed an internship in Fashion Photography in New York, NY studying under photographer Sandi Fellman. Sarah received her BFA with a concentration in Graphic Design from ASU in May 2004.
With over a decade of experience in the design industry, she has worked for both private organizations and larger design firms. Most recently, Sarah has been working for a small Black Mountain, NC non-profit. She is proud that her brochure, newsletter, website, and other designs are used to help generate funds that help hundreds of thousands of hepatitis and tuberculosis patients.
Most recently having taken up crafting as a hobby, Sarah enjoys sharing her crafts as gifts for family and friends. She especially loves seeing their smiles (sometimes tears) as they open their gifts. Sarah has been encouraged to share her crafts with a larger audience with hopes of making many others smile.
